Simple Summer Recipes for Weight Loss Detox

Here is one of my favorite simple Summer recipes to help you feel and look fabulous. It’s an easy to make weight loss detox recipe that uses the cleansing herb Dandelion.

Dandelion is known as a detox herb and liver cleanser. But did you know that the Dandelion leaf is very rich in Vitamin A, which we can use for cancer prevention, a healthy heart, to improve your eye sight, and for glowing skin. You should also remember that Dandelion is a gentle diuretic so don’t forget to drink more water to stay hydrated, particularly when it is hot outside.

Easy Simple Weight Loss Detox with Dandelion, Pear and Goat CheeseWeight Loss Detox Recipe with Dandelion Greens

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch organic dandelion greens, chopped
  • 1 organic pear, sliced
  • 1⁄2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1⁄4 pound fresh white goat cheese, crumbled into pieces
  • 3- 4 tbsp Turmeric Dressing

Directions:

Mix all ingredients, add Turmeric Dressing, top with goat cheese.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • season with Kelp and Cayenne Seasoning (from Health store or www.seaveg.com)

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and enjoy with salads, fish, meat, etc.

A Warm Weather Super Simple Detox Plan

When it’s hot and humid outside, use a warm weather super simple detox plan to get and stay refreshed and energized.

Include Raw fruits, vegetables, berries (preferably organic) and plenty of purified water will help you feel and look fabulous.

1. Avoid sources of toxins, such as processed foods and additives,  chemicals in skin care products, etc.

2. Start a day with a glass of warm water and juice from half a lemon or two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.

3. Have cleansing breakfasts with fiber rich foods and detox vegetables, such aswarm weather detox plan

oatmeal with fruits and nuts,

omelette with detox vegetables,

super healthy green smoothie or

4. Add lots of raw fruits, berries and vegetables into your warm weather salads; always remember to buy only organic fruits and vegetables (strawberries, peaches, celery, apples, etc.) if they contain the highest level of pesticides:

5. Make cold soups with raw vegetables, such as:

Cucumber Soup with Radishes and Mint, etc.

6. Make lots of juices to cleanse the liver and get lots of nutrients. Apples, beets or  carrots can be used as a good base and then you can add any of your favorite fruits or vegetables.

Tasty Cucumber and Apple Green Smoothie

It’s alway a perfect time to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

With fruits and vegetables you can always make a delicious detox breakfast, green smoothies recipes for weight loss, or anti-aging soups to feel fantastic.

Use the green juice recipe below to help you look and feel younger and healthier.

Cucumber is rich in silica to keep our skin wrinkle free.Cucumber also contains the digestive enzyme (erepsin) to help digest = break down protein and cleanse the intestines, and a detox vegetable for cleansing our kidneys.Cucumber and Apple Green Smoothie Simple Detox Recipe and Natural Beauty Remedy

Apple is one the high fiber foods for constipation, easy natural weight loss and detox. The pectin in apples cleanses intestines and removes toxic metals and residues of radiation. Apple is rich in vitamins A, E and C and pectin, which are very beneficial for our skin. It is always a great idea to use apple facials to rejuvenate and nourish our skin.

Cilantro is a detoxing and cleansing herb. It helps in the chelation of heavy metals such as mercury and lead.

Tasty Cucumber and Apple Green Smoothie Simple Detox Recipe and Natural Beauty Remedy

  • 2 organic apples
  • 1 medium cucumbers
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 organic celery stock ( if you like it)

Juice all ingredients and serve immediately.

Cucumber Homemade Anti-aging Beauty Facial Mask

Place cucumber slices on your eyes for 10 – 15 minutes to reduce swelling and puffiness. This easy to make homemade anti-aging beauty recipe and remedy will help you look refreshed and a couple of years younger.

Tasty Cucumber Soup with Radishes and Mint Beauty Recipe

Cold soups are very easy to make and they make a perfect meal for a hot summer day. If you listened to our interview with Robyn Webb, an award winning cookbook author with tips on How to Eat, Feel and Look Sexy in Summer, you already know that she likes Cucumber Soups.

I would like to share with you this healthy Cucumber Soup recipe I adopted from www.thedailygreen.com and which you can use as one of my  favorites to make you feel and look fabulous during a swimsuit season. Cucumbers and radishes are rich in silica which helps reduce wrinkles. They both can also be used to detox and cleanse your intestines to maintain glowing skin.Easy Detox Cucumber Soup Beauty Remedies Tip

Homemade Cucumber Soup Recipe

  • 3/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 medium-size seedless cucumber
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • 2 cups very ripe honeydew melon
  • 8 radishes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp each Kosher salt and pepper
  • Sprinkling of snipped fresh chives
  • A small dollop of greek yogurt

In a blender, puree 3/4 cup each greek yogurt,  a cucumber, in chunks, salt, and garlic. Pour into a bowl. Add 2 cups very ripe honeydew to blender; puree. Add to cucumber mixture and stir to combine; chill.

Radishes: combine in a bowl with fresh mint,  lime juice, salt and pepper.

To serve, ladle soup into bowls and top with radish salsa, a sprinkling of snipped fresh chives, and a small dollop of greek yogurt.
