When its cold and wet outside, it may be the right time to take some time to balance your lifestyle, body and your body. Why not take some indoor time to take care of your relationship issues, career choices, physical activities levels, and spirituality with some natural stress remedies that can use to detox your mind.
1. Where are the stresses in your life?
First try to answer the following questions to help you focus on what you need to do to eliminate some unnecessary stress:
- Which area of your life (relationship, career, finances, physical activities, spirituality, education, health, social life, home environment) you think needs the most attention right now, and why is that?
- Which area of your life do you think keeps you in balance?
- Where do you think you need to spend more time and energy to create balance.
If you can answer the questions above, you will be better able to focus on the remedies you choose to use to detox your mind, spirit and body with, for example:
2. Try a Yoga, Qigong or Tai Chi class as a stress remedy
Learning yoga poses can reduce your stress levels, boost your mood, and improve your overall health. Studies show that your level of the stress hormone cortisol is reduced when doing basic beginner yoga. You can also get the benefits of yoga with chair yoga, office yoga or wall yoga to detox your body and find hormone balance.
Qigong is the art of cultivating your vital energy through gentle movements and techniques that incorporate breath, sound, visualization and self-massage.
Tai chi -moving meditation – consists of slow, focused, deliberate moves that awaken your chi and allows it to flow unblocked throughout your body, improving your healthy well-being.
3. Learn visualization-meditation to detox your mind
There are so many different meditation exercise techniques. One of them suggests sitting for a couple of minutes doing nothing but being aware of our breathing. Just sit still for a moment, inhale slowly through your nose, then exhale slowly through your mouth.
You can also use a facial meditation to help you rejuvinate your face while you are relaxing your body.
Visualization helps to refocus your mind and reduce stress in no time. Just look at the clouds, a flower, a
or try food meditation by imagining a plate with healthy food.
