Super Healthy Immunity Boosting Smoothie Cold and Flu Remedy.
Did you make your resolution this new year to not be a flu statistic? To stay healthy in general and to prevent cancer and not to catch frequent colds all year round, you will need to have a healthy body that can defend you from infection and diseases.
If you made your resolution to change your lifestyle, you will have gone a long way toward helping your body improve its immunity fighting defenses and to avoid not only the flu and colds, but many illnesses as well. But you can further help your body fight colds, by eating the right foods.
To avoid cold, coughs and sneezing with natural foods, you may want to try this super healthy immunity boost orange and lemon smoothie cold remedy recipe.
Flu Remedy Ingredients:
- 1 lemon
- 1 peeled orange or grapefruit
- ¼ cayenne pepper
- 1-3 cloves garlic
- ½ tsp horseradish
Cold Remedy Directions:
- In a blender place one cut up lemon (rind, seeds, every-thing) and one peeled orange or grapefruit (no rind). Add enough water to blend. Puree on high for 2-3 minutes.
- Strain juice and return to blender. Add cayenne pepper, garlic and horseradish. Puree for another minute, then drink.
